Masons Arms undergoes £2m refurbishment
T he Masons Arms in Branscombe, Devon, is set to undergo a spectacular £2 million refurbishment.
The investment in our historic 14th-century inn will create 15 new jobs, including front and back of house team members, chefs, and housekeepers. The new-look Masons Arms is due to reopen before Easter.
Featuring 28 comfy rooms and a converted cottage, the pub is adorned with cosy character features such as timber frames, low beamed ceilings, pine cladding, and a roaring log fire. As part of the refurbishment plans, each of the rooms, including the converted thatched cottage, will be redesigned with refreshed and homely interiors.
Tamsyn Allington, People and Communications director at St Austell Family Group, said:
W e are delighted to be investing in the future of the Masons Arms, an iconic country inn which has always been popular with our locals and - thanks to its beautiful location - attracts visitors from far and wide.
